I’ve never fundraised before… Where should I start?

Fundraising can be daunting, but don’t fear! With some creativity and determination, we’ve had pilgrims fundraise the entire cost of their pilgrimage to World Youth Day. We recommend starting with some reflection and prayer about why you’re making this pilgrimage. The more clearly you’re able to communicate that, the more likely people will be to support you!
Then, we recommend brainstorming family members and friends to support your pilgrimage. If you’re traveling with a group, we strongly suggest group fundraisers as a way to both build community and reduce the cost of the trip for everyone traveling.
