My departure page shows gratuities/tips are not included for my upcoming pilgrimage. What amounts do you suggest I tip?

Below are our suggested guidelines for daily gratuities during your pilgrimage:

$3 per day for Pilgrimage Directors
$8 per day for full day local guides/tour escorts
$5 per day for half day local guides
$5 per day for bus drivers
$2 per hotel for porterage
$2 per night for hotel cleaning/housekeeping/hotel meals
$2 per meal not provided in the hotel

Please know that these tip amounts are a suggestion. Each person can decide the amount they are comfortable with to give. Kindly provide tips in cash to the respective services, including hotels, restaurants, guides, drivers, and Pilgrimage Directors, as this practice is customary and expected while traveling.
