What should I see in Seoul during my free time at WYD?

Seoul is a sprawling, vibrant, city where the traditional and the modern exist side by side. We recommend exploring neighborhoods like Insa-dong, Ikseon-dong, and Bukchon Hanok Village for immersion into Korean culture, and exploring Myeongdong and Gangnam to encounter the more contemporary parts of the city.
Some recommended cultural sites include Gyeongbokgung Palace, Gwangjang Market, Namsan Tower and the expansive park surrounding it, and the War Memorial of Korea museum. If you like sports, take a look at the schedules for the Korean Baseball Organization (KBO) and try to catch a game!
