When will WYD pilgrim formation from Verso kick off? What sort of timeline can I expect for formation and information leading up to departure?
- When you get access to your Pilgrim Portal, you’ll receive a series of Welcome Emails that will introduce you to Verso, pilgrimage, and World Youth Day.
- Throughout 2026, Verso will make certain resources available to pilgrims on our website, but our formal formation program will kick off in 2027. You can expect monthly webinars beginning in the spring of 2027 and leading up to departure. Other formation will be delivered via email, including e-retreats, information about Korea and World Youth Day, and logistical best practices.
- You’ll have a Pack & Prep Meeting with your group in the summer of 2027, part of which will be focused on spiritual formation, the other portion on your itinerary, packing, and logistics.
- All of our formation resources, spiritual and otherwise, will be compiled on a Pilgrim Resource Webpage for you to easily access.
