Why is this company called Verso Ministries?

Our name, Verso Ministries, is derived from the words “Verso l’alto”, written by St. Pier Giorgio Frassati on a now-iconic photograph depicting him scaling the side of a cliff. The words mean “to the top” or “towards the heights”.

Metaphorically, the phrase means, “orient your entire life toward God.” In all that you do, in all that you are, seek the path that leads you to God.

We feel this quote exemplifies the mission of Verso Ministries: to lead and accompany pilgrims on the path that leads to God.

So, together, let’s seek the path, encounter the sacred, and follow the example of St. Pier Giorgio as we embark on pilgrimage.
